The cold months are upon us and most of us will be spending more time in our homes relaxing and entertaining. There is no need to get the winter blues. Turn your house into a toasty and cozy winter haven with these easy to follow ideas.

·Add throw pillows to your living room furniture in warm rich tones such as red, burnt orange, burgundy and chocolate brown.

·Drape soft throw blankets over a couch or chair.

·Plush area rugs define the space and warm your toes. They work great not only for hard wood floors but also wall-to-wall carpet.
